A poet I may have become, but the hand that wields this pen is rooted in fiction, not, to say that it is fictitious, but it is confined to the imaginary, stubborn to the tip; So these pent up thoughts which seem only communicable through metaphor, imagery and rhyme are to be slaughtered by my cruel, ungainly scrawl.

It is impossible, you and I are like the leaves of a tree, a seed on the wind, the pattern of a falling snowflake. We are indefinable, unattainable, we cannot be pinned down, entering unchartered water on a perplexing flurry of potential

Wring 'em dry. He scanned the arrivals board quickly, reducing the sign he held to shreds. The butterflies he felt when dreaming about her were nothing compared to how he felt now. Dismayed, he examined the wreckage. Her name, torn into the smallest pieces. He hoped it wasnt an omen. What if he didnt recognise her! What if she didnt recognise him! Hed had a haircut before he came and was wearing a jacket shed never seen...what if he was at the wrong gate, the wrong airport, the wrong city Head full of what ifs he turned his head to watch the baggWring 'em dry.
